Waitlist
Turn cancellations into bookings — clients join a cancellation list, and you email whoever fits the moment a slot opens up.
When a slot falls through, the waitlist helps you fill it fast. Clients put themselves on a cancellation list; when an opening comes up you email whoever fits, and the first to book takes it.
How clients join
Your public booking site shows a “Join the waitlist for sooner openings” link. It leads to a short form — their email (all that's required), and optionally their name, a preferred artist, the dates that work, how long they need, and a note.
On the Website Builder add-on, you can add the waitlist as its own page or nav link too.
Filling an opening
1Open Bookings → Waitlist. You'll see everyone waiting, longest wait first — with their preferred artist, the dates and session length they asked for, how long they've been waiting, and any note.
2When a slot frees up, pick whoever fits and hit Email opening. The subject and message come pre-written and editable; the client gets an email with a Book now link straight to your site.
3It's first-come, first-book, so you can reach out to more than one person for the same slot — whoever books it first gets it. Once you email someone they're marked notified and move off the active list.
NoteNotifying is deliberately by hand, not an automatic blast — you stay in control of who hears about an opening. Use Mark booked once someone takes the slot, or Remove, to keep the list tidy.
