Linebook is business software, licensed to tattoo studios — businesses operating from their own premises — for professional use. It isn't a consumer app and isn't for personal or family use, and every plan covers the whole team. Prices in CAD or USD, plus applicable sales tax, billed monthly or annually through Stripe to the studio; cancel anytime.
The small print, in plain words
- Do you take a cut of bookings?
- No. You pay the monthly rate and keep every dollar of the work. Most booking tools add a cut of every payment on top of your processor's rate. We don't take a penny of it. If you take cards your processor charges its own fee, and that is the entire cost — cash and e-transfer cost nothing at all and land in the same ledger.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Billing stops at the end of the period you've paid for and your booking site goes offline. Your bookings, clients and ledger stay exportable — we don't delete your data or sell it on.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Moving up to Shop is one click and prorates immediately. Moving down is a short email to us rather than a button: the roster has to come under 3 logins, guest chairs and hosted artists have to end, and any website pages you built stay live but read-only. We'd rather walk it through with you than have a button refuse.
- I work on my own — is Private studio for me?
- Yes. A private studio is a tattoo business run from its own premises by one or a few artists, and that is exactly what the plan is sized for. You get every chair's tools, both apps, and room for two more people if you ever take them on.
- Do guest artists cost extra?
- Not on Shop — a visiting artist gets a chair and a date range at no extra charge, and their access ends when the spot does (up to 3 at once). Private studio doesn't carry guest chairs: a guest holds a login like anyone else, so they'd be one of your 3.
